İstanbul Ferrous and Non-Ferrous Exporters Association (İDDMİB) organized a national participation organization for the first time for Abastur fair in 2019, the largest professional kitchen equipment and hotel supplies exhibition in Latin America.

To support and promote the export of Turkish Kitchenware sector amidst the turbulence due to the pandemic, İDDMİB organized a “Virtual Trade Mission” to Latin America region including Mexico, Colombia and Chile between 18th of June and 3rd of July 2020 under the auspices of Turkish Ministry of Trade.

Under the DECLARATION ON SUPPORTING THE DEVELOPMENT OF INTERNATIONAL COMPETITIVENESS (2010/8), İstanbul Minerals and Metals Exporters Association has been managing clustering projects for “Turkish Kitchenware” sector since 2012. Cluster projects enable the sector to discover the potential of cooperation while competing simultaneously and exploring new market opportunities.
