Öncü was founded in 1955 and in the year 1985 aluminum utensils were added to the high demand and success in the coppersmith sector in Kahramanmaras, which lead to a wide network of customers throughout Turkey and also expanded its product range in the 2000s by starting to manufacture non-stick and non-flammable kitchenware. In 2004 it became an integrated facility thru the start of aluminum plate productions. To increase the variety of products and to introduce new products to the customers, it also started to manufacture products related to steel kitchenware. Öncü Kitchen, which markets 50% of its products abroad, has currently reached every city in Turkey and has attained the cognoscenti’ companies status in the kitchenware sector. The company manufacturing brands like Öncü, Almet, Evident, Simlon, Aslon, uses 3 layers coating with special alloy, and 100% (ethyl 5) aluminum as raw material. On the other hand, various innovations like honeycombed and patterned products are taking place and about 1000 different items are on the products scale. Surely this success is foremost due to quality of raw material, advanced technology and intense sectoral saving, as well as employee and customer satisfaction based approach.
