Sarten began production of metal Packaging products on 20 March 1972 at its Çorlu plant. To meet the demands of rapidly growing Turkish market, Sarten has soon opened additional factories. As a consequence of Company’s growth strategy, today Sarten operates 15 plants in total located in Silivri, Gebze, Karacabey, Gemlik, Manisa, Adana and Ayvalık regions. Investment in these plants, are made in parallel to the Sarten’s customer-focused strategy where plants were specifically erected at locations where the customers are concentrated. Product portfolio of Sarten features metal containers, twist caps, and plastic accessories. Sarten is the manufacturer of metal containers for a variety of industries including canned foods, cooking oil, aerosols, pesticides, engine oils, paints. In plastic containers supplies, Sarten offers products made of PET, PE and PP for the lubricants, agricultural chemicals (COEX), paints, ketchup (COEX), cleaning materials and cosmetics industries. Twist caps offered by SARTEN in a wide range of diameters (38 mm to 100 mm) and different types , are ideal for various requirements of customers and they meet the demands of food industry. Jar lids are manufactured to meet the demands of the food industry. Product diameters range from 38mm to 100mm. SARTEN currently operates three overseas production facilities organized under international companies established abroad with 100% Sarten equity. Metal container plant located at PLEVEN and operated under Sarten Bulgaria Ltd. is the first of these overseas investments while the other are the aerosol can plant at NEVINOMINSK, Russia and operated by OOO Sarpak company and also at ROOSENDAAL, Netherlands and operated by Sarten Packaging Netherlands B.V. SARTEN also operates two marketing companies in Serbia and Romania aimed to carry out the sales and supply operations to these countries and the neighboring regions. SARTEN is the market leader and frontrunner of technology across the metal and plastic container industry and operates its R&D headquarters at the Silivri Plant providing machinery supply and manufacturing molds for the factories enabling their technological developments. The SARTEN ACADEMY established at the Silivri Plant in line with our policy to make continuous investments in our people, delivers training to newly hired personnel, existing employees and customers.
